Ngurdoto Crater is practically a smaller version of the Ngorongoro Crater and has a diameter of about 3 km. With a bit of luck you might even spot buffaloes on the crater floor. In the afternoon we will drive you back to your Arusha hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in your hotel, you’ll depart towards Tarangire National Park, and with an approximate 2 hour drive you will arrive at your destination. Tarangire is considered to be one of the best places in Africa where you can have a close encounter with the elephants. Not only because there are thousands of these giant animals presente, but also because they are used to the presence of the vehicles. From the open roof safari car you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals.
